Terms and Conditions for services provided by Ladybird Sustainable Gardening (LSG).

Please carefully read these Terms and Conditions before agreeing to the quotation provided by LSG.  You are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions by accepting the quotation provided by LSG 

SERVICES PROVIDED BY LSG. LSG will provide garden maintenance services as requested by the client and as described in the quote LSG has provided. LSG will choose the most appropriate method and equipment for each particular job. 

QUOTATIONS.  The quotation provided is an estimate only of the cost of the work required to complete a job. As each gardening job is different, the time involved may vary according to the complexity of the job. Work is either quoted as a fixed price, or on a per worker, per hour basis. LSG may not be able to provide a final price until the work is completed. However, this quote should give you a reasonable indication of the expected price. LSG will only charge you for the actual work undertaken.

We reserve the right to amend the initial quotation if your original requirements change. If it is later found that the cost to complete the job is likely to exceed the quotation by more than 15%, you will be consulted before any additional work, beyond the quoted price (plus 15%) is completed.

PAYMENT. Payment can be made by cash, direct bank transfer, credit card and PAYID and is required to be made on the day services are completed. Depending on the size of the job, a deposit of 20% may be required prior to work commencing. All outstanding invoices must be paid before further work can be undertaken on a property.

OUR WORK. In the event of unsuitable weather including intense heat or rain, LSG will contact you to arrange an alternative time to carry out the work.

Work undertaken by LSG carries appropriate public liability insurance. LSG is not liable for and accepts no responsibility for unavoidable damage or loss of any nature which is not caused by our negligence or by a breach of the Terms of our quotation.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS. Provided at least 24 hours notice is given by email or telephone prior to the agreed start time you may reschedule or cancel scheduled works. Where there is a failure to provide at least 24 hours’ notice to request cancellation of works, you will incur full charges for any materials purchased and a default fee of $60 may be charged at LSG’s absolute discretion.

You must ensure there is access to the property at the scheduled time and that an electricity supply is available and accessible. You are responsible for alerting LSG staff members of specific requests or needs. Failure to provide access to the property at the agreed time may result in a default fee of $60 being charged, at LSG’s absolute discretion.

Once LSG staff commence work on your property, please be aware that their time is being charged. In order to minimise the cost of the service to you we request that you help to minimise any distractions.

Please contact us within 24 hours if you are not satisfied with the work provided by LSG and we will provide you with assistance to address your concerns. Our account is then due as per our invoice once LSG has made all reasonable attempts to address any outstanding issues. 

AMENDMENTS. We reserve the right to make any changes to any part of these Terms and Conditions without giving prior notice.
